The proportion of
carbon monoxide is lighter than air, and fire smoke will gradually rise in the air, so when installing the
carbon monoxide detector, we usually install it at the high places. If intall it on the wall, usually below the celling 0.3-1.0 meters; if for ceiling installation, then simple install it on the ceiling, using the screw fix the detector frame on the wall or celling.
Home installation should pay attention to:
1. Install it far away from a gas stove, so that to avoid the detector being baked.
2. The places with much smoke when in normal statu is not suitable to install this detector, as it may cause false alarm or blocking the air intakes.
3. To keep the detector´s sensitivity, it also shouldn´t be installed near from a exhaust fan, door or window and bathroom.
